2012 is almost over.  One more year passing.  I reflected earlier this year about something I was told about new year's.  Every single day is a new year.  December 31, 2012 is a whole year later than December 31, 2011.  It's been a year since that date so that means that every day we start a brand new day.  A new beginning.  Every single day we get the chance to turn the page again and write our story however we want to.
The only differences about New Year's the holiday and any other day is that we change the last number in the year and more people reflect on that day because they've had from January 1st until December 31st to complete their resolutions for the year.
My resolutions this year are relatively simple.

Someone on Tumblr had a great list!  I liked all of it except the tea drinking part.  The only tea I drink comes in powder form and tastes like Mango Pineapple!  :)

Snow and Sickness

 I've been sick for the past three weeks.  Sadly, the pep talks from Halls hasn't made me better yet...

 I've enjoyed drinking hot chocolate and watching Christmas movies!

The Best Kind of Fall Day

For me, the best fall day is right now.  It's right between fall and winter where it's cold out, but you can get away with just a sweatshirt.  This is the time of year where you go out for a walk, and the wind is blowing, and your ears and nose get bright pink.  It's the time right before you have to wear hats and mittens and a big coat, and right after all of the leaves have fallen to the ground.

When I went outside this was the very first thing to catch my eye.

Calvin found out that it's very easy to pull the little corn stalks out of the ground to chew on them easier.

 Once he discovered that it was hard to get him to stay still!  He ran back and forth pulling up several as he went...goofy dog!

 It took quite a bit of bribery to get these...

 And then he was off again!

Then he found some leftover corn.

And carried it all the way home!  :)
